Description
I saw an ad on Facebook from the company Lennox & Gray advertising that they were having a close out on shoes and boots because they were no longer going to be selling them (only clothes and purses for the future). The pair of boots that I ordered were really nice in detail and stitching (also leather) and were showed at an original price of $95. They were on the close out special for $64.95. It seemed completely legit and the company had a nice website and legit address here in the US. I placed my order on 12/23 and I then begin to receive email updates on the "shipping status." I did think that it was odd that the updates were in French presumably and the updates didn't make much sense. The updates then continued to come until the product was delivered on 1/14/26. The boots arrived in a package folded up (no box and no tags) and were obviously not the boots that I had ordered. The label on the outside showed a return address in California (which I thought was strange b/c the company advertises out of NY). The boots obviously were shipped initially from a different country. They did resemble the boots but they were most definitely a knock off version and they smelled like plastic. The sizing does appear to be correct. I plan to donate them to a shelter or give them to Goodwill. Disappointing but lesson learned.
