Description
Christina Hernandez claiming to be the assistant of David Kahl requested an engagement for Accounting Services. An engagement letter was sent along with an invoice on Quickbooks Pay. The invoice amount was for $9,000m the invoice was paid through quickbooks and funds was deposited in my business account 8 days later, 1 day after payment Christina/David requested a change in the scope of work and instead of 3 days they only needed 2 day and they are requesting a credit of $3,000 to be paid immediately via wire transfer. This was delayed as the payment was not posted to my account and I was not sending them personal funds. 10 days later the scope of work was changed again from 2 days to 1 day and an additional refund of $3,000 was requested and was paid. Within 48hrs of the second refund an email was received from David stating that he would have to cancel the engagement because his wife and unborn child passed away and he is now requesting a refund of $2,000, I told him I would have to request refunds from the software company for the subscription I ordered before he got him final refund. I also told him that he would be receiving an invoice for administrative fees incurred in preparation for the engagement. Today January 14, the customer did a chargeback/dispute for the payment made of $9,000. They were already credited $6,000 (via bank wire to Davind Kahl's Discover Account) and now they are attempting to be reimbursed $9,000 by way of a dispute.
