I purchased a hearing aid through a sale ad on instagram by HearDirectClub for Nova hearing aid at $159. It was guaranteed 100 day return "no questions asked". The product was defective and instructions not complete for some items and inaccurate on others. The aids hurt my ears and were impossible to adjust sound as the sound adjuster was in the middle of the hearing aid and to push on that while in the ear caused more pain, plus inability to see what level the volume was being adjusted to. I decided to return. I called their number at least 9 times, and each time it would start a message and then hang up in the middle. I tried to reach out by email and no return email. Then i looked up this company online and found that they have a terrible record of non-delivery, non-working products, and difficulty obtaining promised refunds despite return policies. I called my credit card company to stop the transaction. In doing research for them, I discovered the package the hearing aid came in had the return address as listed in this complaint for Jerry Yasfbara. I looked him up, and he has multiple complaints for various mail scams, phishing scams, and non-return of items (just Google his name for how extensive his history is). Please beware. I hope he is caught, and others won't get defrauded by him
