Description
First, I received an SMS message from one person, asking if I was interested in a remote job. I said yes, then the next day, a second person sent me a text message. I ignored it for a few hours. The second person then sent a WhatsApp message, which I responded to. We talked on WhatsApp for a while, then they sent me the URL for their company's website. After some "training," I had earned some credits, supposedly payable to a crypto trading app. Later that day, the biggest red flag appeared: sending some cryptocurrency to my account to make my existing credits available to withdraw. I blocked them on WhatsApp, they had sent enough innocent looking messages via WhatsApp that reporting them to WhatsApp probably wouldn't have worked.
