Ezra Patrick advertised his home for rent on furnished finders and we signed a 3 month lease. When we arrived he all the sudden needed a 3k deposit instead of just first months rent. It was late we traveled far and we had no other place to stay with our dog and No one else on furnished finders answered. So we scrambled to get the money and sent it to him. The website we signed the lease through sent us an email saying the signing was canceled. We stayed our 3 months with several issues at the place. Took video leaving it better than we found it. We asked him to walk through before we left He did. He said he was busy and couldnt send it right now, but hes a reasonable man and hed give the deposit back within a few days. Its been 2 months and he wont return calls, texts or emails. I had to call from a number with his area code to get him to answer the phone. Then he says he soke to my boyfriend saying he was going to pay. Still has not. Still reads our texts we send but doesnt answer. So I left s letter at Eazy Auto, his business that is in front of the home since he has not been responsive. Then tells me im trespassing if i go there. He owes us 3k in a security deposit. We just filed suit and are taking him to small claims court. Dont buy a car or rent anything from this man! There is pages and pages of complaints on him and we were unaware till this happened.
