I recently received a letter at my home address regarding a business credit card. The letter listed a business name that I did not recognize, which prompted us to research it further. After searching the business name online, we discovered an active website selling camping gear that appears to be operating under my personal information. In addition, this business has been officially registered as an LLC in the state of North Carolina using my name, without my knowledge or authorization. I have never created, owned, or been involved in this business in any capacity. This situation is concerning, as my personal information appears to have been used fraudulently.
