I matched with Deija on Hinge and we exchanged phone numbers but I never met her. First she asked for smaller amounts of money which I gave her without asking for her to repay me. At some point she asked me to cover rent soon ($255) but this time she said she promised to pay me back since this was a lot of money, saying she was going to miss her payment and her mom couldn't help her. I sent the money to her on sunday october 26th 2025, she responded by text a few more times that day, sent text in the morning the next day (27th) and never responded ever again. And when she asked for the money she promised she would pay me back October 31st. So this wasn't a case of me lending money, us hanging out and talking for a couple weeks and her "not feeling the vibe" and ghosting me, she got the money and blocked me the next day. I believe this is clear evidence of her sole purpose of using the dating app to get money, promise to pay back, then blocking people, and is clear abuse of the purpose of a dating app. I have already reported this to hinge, zelle, wells fargo (initially tried to send on zelle from wells fargo but it failed and ultimately sent through apple cash as can be seen in screenshot), apple cash, IRS and she was BANNED on hinge already (I attached screenshots).
