This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Was asked about a job. Directed to a web link via email and asked to fill out personal details. Name phone number and address. Then had me take photo of my id front and back as well as a selfie holding my id. I went to look up the info and found this information about a scam. I sent message to the cell and email saying I pass on the job opportunity and heard nothing back.
