This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Description
Scammers send text message to recipients claiming to be tmobile saying we have unused rewards points that are expiring and need to be used right away or will be lost, link provided takes you to a website that looks exactly like tmobile site, has you type in your phone number which then pulls up & shows you how many points you have and all the rewards you can choose from to exchange them for. When you pick a reward, it then directs you to enter your shipping info, followed by your choice of shipping type, and then asks for credit/debit card info to pay for the shipping for your reward, which then the scammers can steal your card info and use it and/or steal money. I almost entered my card info & believed this, and could have had my card info stolen. I have reported the text to tmobile scam as well. I have taken screenshots of the different pages on this website and included them as a collage in this report.
