Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

Multiple phone calls a day from different numbers all over the United states claiming that during COVID, people got themselves in debt and a red flag from experian had come across their desk for my elderly mother. Everytime they called it was an automated person calling themselves, "AVA" and once we answered, it was able to respond to questions to some degree and then would connect you with a "supervisor". That's when a live person came on and would give you the same story about Experian. In spite of us telling them to stop calling her, they have persisted in calling her still, 5-10 times a day making it impossible to block their numbers.
