James Lay is a physical fitness instructor from Burlson Texas. Widely known on social media platforms. He said he was trying to help several kids in the hospital or home with medical bills. Said he would payoff my credit card,but a stop payment was initiated after I purchased the gift cards. He said he wanted a 3rd person not affiliated with him to purchase apple gift cards to give to the children, but he stopped the transfer of funds to pay off my credit cardSo now, I have the original credit card balance, plus the purchase of apple gift cards. When I notified him of the stopped payment,he said he would make it right. He does not respond to my texts or phone calls. I believed and trusted him but he took advantage of my giving personality. Really stupid on my part, I'm an elderly single woman and over several months , he made me believe in him.
