Description
I ordered a space heater for Christmas on Dec. 6th from their website. It did not arrive until Jan. 5th, so I called the company to arrange returning the product. I was told they do not do any refunds, which was not on their website when I ordered the product. The person I spoke with, who identified himself as Jasmine Smith, told me that he would credit me 30% of the price back, but said again that their policy is no refunds. I persisted again, and after being forceful, Jasmine agreed to completely refund the price of the space heater. Additionally, right before the space heater arrived, I was charged $32.39 for a membership fee, which I did not authorize or sign up for when I purchased the product on Dec. 6th. Again, I was persistent and that charge was refunded, too. Then, on Jan. 6th, another charge for $32.39 for a membership fee appeared on my credit card, but it disappeared after less than one day. I have not gotten any additional charges to my card, but I must confess that I really pushed back on the company and threatened to dispute the charges on my card before they finally did the right thing and credited me all my money back. The space heater itself was much smaller than I expected it to be, too. I offered to return the product in its unopened container, but I was told in an email to keep the product for free as a gesture of the company’s good will.
