I bought an item off of TikTok. The seller supposedly sent it through this company. I got an email from this company saying that they needed payment for insurance before my package could continue through transit. The only way to pay that was through Zelle to a person who supposedly worked there. I felt skeptical about it and paid. That then a few hours later I get another email saying package is on hold again and needed a payment for stamps and seal. Needless to say I paid that. Then next day I got another email saying that they needed payment for city permit clearance. The package supposedly was getting shipped from Florida to Washington. I finally realized I was being scammed from the start of this and immediately stopped. They stated that this money would be refunded once package was delivered. That’s the only reason I made the two payments. The person who I bought the item from had be working with them because he kept trying to get me to pay it.
