Description
I ordered a clothing item from an online retailer based on product photos and descriptions that showed a high-quality, structured garment made from a soft, textured fabric with a specific color, ribbed details, and a metal zipper. The item I received was completely different from what was advertised. It was made from a thin, flat synthetic material with a printed pattern rather than the textured fabric shown, the color was significantly different, and key construction features such as ribbed cuffs, a ribbed waistband, and a structured collar were missing. The zipper was plastic instead of metal, and the overall fit and appearance did not resemble the product listing. The item appeared to be a low-quality, mass-produced garment rather than the fashion item shown in the listing. When contacted, the seller did not provide a satisfactory resolution, leaving me to dispute the charge through my credit card company. This was not a minor variation or sizing issue—it was an entirely different product than what was advertised, indicating product misrepresentation. Consumers should be cautious of online retailers that use misleading photos or descriptions that do not match the items actually shipped.
