I repeatedly saw ads on Instagram for a company, allegedly based in Boston, called Bennett and Claire. Their sweaters looked of good quality so I ordered one in early December 2025 for $64.95, which paid via credit card. The sweater arrived on January 5, 2026 from a delivery company called GOFO Express. In researching this company, I found that they largely deliver items shipped from China.. The sweater came in a zip lock bag, without a receipt and no other information. The sweater is not like it was pictured in the ads-it’s almost see through, has no tags on it and is overall shoddy. Obviously, not from Bennett and Claire Boston. I sent an email to the “company” requesting a refund, but have not heard anything and I do not expect I will hear anything. I am not going to ship this sweater back to China at a ridiculous cost to myself. I would recommend not buying anything from this company. It is not a business based in the US, as their ads lead you to believe. And once on their mailing list, it is difficult to unsubscribe.
