Description
I accepted an order on 12/30 around 5:15am to pick up an order at 711. I get a call from what displayed DoorDash on my caller ID. The person said they are calling because my account is going to get deactivated because someone reported that I smelled like alcohol on a delivery I did the prior day, and that I need to stop by Walgreens or CVS to do a breathalyzer test. They told me to cancel my order, and they also read me my card number and asked if they had my card number right. I was confused of the question doordash support was asking. Even more confused because I do not drink alcohol at all. They immediately hung. After the dash I checked my crimson card and all of my money was gone. At 5:44am I called DoorDash support within the app and spoke with John Danver and he took down my information and reported the dispute. John Danver looked into and informed me that the order i accepted was a fake order placed by the scammer and once i accepted it that was how the scammer was able to get my information. The scammer called from 302- 305- 7558 and transfered me to 562-250-7926.
