Description
Issues: Unknown state or location, Inferior product (it was flimsy with two small batteries inside and I felt no heat or vibration), they provide no physical address, they do not want their product back and won’t tell you how to return it, but charge you a re-stocking fee, and do not refund the full amount of your purchase. I lost about $40 in this transaction. The Vitakneerelieve massager arrived promptly. It was an inferior product. When I wrote to return it (to get their “30 day money back guarantee)”, I realized they had no physical address. I wrote and asked how to return the item. They replied promptly with two emails asking for more details and not providing an address for return. After my 2nd request (still no information on how or where to return), they wrote "We want to save you the trouble of returning the order and paying the return shipping fees. Therefore, we are here to help you with your return and refund process. In order to initiate the refund, we will require you to return the product. But as an alternative, we offer a discount to-keep option, where you can receive a 50% refund and keep the product, or even donate the product. We can immediately refund $39.99, which will show on your statement typically within 3-5 business days. How does that sound?” I rejected that request and then received this message after my 3rd email to them: "We're sorry to hear that you're still considering a return. To make things easier for you and avoid the hassle and cost of sending the item back, we'd like to offer you a refund option without requiring the product to be returned. With your approval, we can issue a refund of $67.99 directly to your original payment method. This amount will typically appear on your statement within 3–5 business days. Note: There is a standard 15% restocking fee applied to all returns, which is already factored into the refund amount offered. Please let us know if we may proceed with this option for you” I sent a message rejecting that option and asked for a full refund, telling them I was reporting them for scamming. This was their final reply: "I would like to confirm that your $67.99 refund has been successfully processed. Please allow 3 - 5 business days for the refund to be reflected on your credit card. Some credit card companies can take up to a full billing cycle to post a refund, however, most will post them within five business days.
