The item purchased was advertised (written description & photo) on Junie Boutique website (portal no longer supported) as a hand-stitched leather bag/tote from an artisanal leather shop that was closing due to the proprietor (Junie) retiring after decades of producing quality hand-made leather goods. There was nothing at all fishy about the website or steps to ordering. I ordered a bag called Lorena® in a very dark brown color (called coffee); it was also offered in black and a lighter brown. The item I rec'd looks like the photo except that it is not the dark brown I ordered but a color brown between the coffee color I ordered and the lighter brown offered AND it's not real leather and definitely not hand-stitched - cheap vinyl/pleather copy of what I thought I ordered. I paid with a cc via UseePay (uc.useepay.com) which was used by the company (not something I chose) - UseePay's dispute center is unavailable right now due to "unusual and incorrect credentials" as per Microsoft. I did send them an e-mail a day or so ago at [email protected] and did not hear back from them. I also e-mailed Junie Boutique and did receive responses (see attached pdf). Note that exactly the same item I ordered from Junie Boutique (Lorena®) is currently being offered at another website (Bellatorri - a company supposedly in the US run by Enzo Bellatorri and his daughter Sofia Bellatorri) as Rosa® | Genuine Leather Shoulder Tote Bag. They are clearly both scams! Do not order from them or any other similar company!! Hind sight is 20/20 :(
