Description
I contacted who Identified themselves as support for Expedia Travel via phone (phone number found online search for Expedia). The contact person, Hazel Grace, indicated that she could assist with my missing itinerary with my Expedia account. She put me on hold and when she returned moments later said that my travel was on hold due to an issue with Expedia and that I would need to re-book the travel and hotel itinerary. I expressed my concerns since I had already paid for the trip. She said that once the travel was rebooked, my itinerary cost issue would clear the transaction for reimbursement. The charges were issued through RICHFLIGHTS and they were issued the credit in full. This never happened. I blame Expedia for the initial failure since this company "Airhelp" somehow hacked into my Expedia itinerary to make it seem cancelled. I have filed a fraud complaint through my credit card, but it has been rejected. I was able to get a "True" phone number for Expedia who verified that my original reservation itinerary was valid all along. Expedia was no help in determining how my account was hacked and knew nothing of the transaction with "Airhelpdesk.com". I received email confirmations as to the transactions and confirmation that I would receive reimbursement. This turns out to be the scam.
