Was reached out on fb by “kitten place” regarding a kitten. Paid $150 for the kitten and was told “the agency” will reach out to me regarding delivery. I received a message from 323-220-7429 stating “It’s pending because For the safety of your kitten you will be needing to rent or buy an electronic crate so this kitten can be comfortable and safe while coming to your location . As for the electric crate, two ways are available to attain an electric air conditioned crate. Either by renting or by purchasing. To rent a crate, you will have to pay the sum of $700 .98% of this money will be given back to you when the pet arrives and the crate is taken back. To purchase a crate, you will have to pay the sum of $1100 The pet is given to you alongside the crate as your property. You are to respond with your choice (renting or purchasing)”. I paid the $700 to rent the crate. Then I received another message stating “URGENT: PUPPY TRANSPORT INSURANCE REQUIRED FOR DELIVERY Dear Valued Client, We are reaching out to inform you that your puppy's transportation is currently on hold due to a lack of required insurance coverage. I was only able to pay $750 and the delivery guy said he would front the other $750. Once my $750 was processed and deposited in their account, I received this message “You need to pay 500 for delay. It’s refundable . And this is the final fee “. I DID NOT send the $500 they requested.
