For maybe the past 2-3 months I’ve been applying for jobs to take care my family but I waited for alil. I used to be a package handler for ***** that was my 1st job so I’m new to working but I’ve applied for ton of jobs that had to do with packaging or stocking. Some time in the beginning of this month I got a call from someone by the name of “ Terry Evan’s”. He introduced himself and asked was he on the phone with the right person and I said yes sir and he started telling me that I applied for a parcel expert shipping job. I never heard of that but I was like ok because I haven’t had a job in about maybe 3 years. I thought I was going to be at a warehouse. He told me I’ll be working from home. He was telling me bout earning up to 4k-5k a month then bi-weekly They sent me a contract.. I had to send them a picture of my state id and a picture of me holding it up. After that he told me they will be sending me supplies and He told me to order some supplies. They had me shipping coins and alil jewelry at first but after while I started getting suspicious and uncomfortable because one day I end up going through my emails and seeing that the emails they were sending me were reported as spams and I started getting very scared let my family know what’s goin on and I started to call their potential spam numbers to get clarification and they told me they were legal and sent documents i looked at them was like okay website and irs letter and etc but then i started doing more research on you tube and looked up “parcel expert” and found a video of a shipping work at home scam and watched the video and started researching about llcs in New Mexico and about does the irs send emails or paper mail and I seen that they always send paper mail so I notified my father about it and then he told me to call them and tell them to not send any packages to my address and they threatened with a police report.. my father knew that they were saying that to scare me I was so afraid and in my head because I’m new to working and never experienced this. I slept it off next day came they told me a package got sent to my address when no one came here so I told them if they me or my family are telling them to send it back to the company
