This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
A sale from All-Clad popped up in my Facebook account. The website that the link took me too was an exact replica of the real All-Clad website. But the deals that were on the fake site did not actually exist if you went to the actual website. I realized there was a problem when I got a confirmation email with pictures that wouldn't come up because gmail blocked them due to suspicious activity. When I googled the email address that came with the confirmation, it was linked to a number of scams.
