Description

Noble Guards Dobermans and Express Paws Logistics Shipping LLC

On December 15, 2025, I attempted to purchase an 11-week-old Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder identifying himself as Jerry Scott, operating under the business name Noble Guards Dobermans. The breeder’s website listed a business address of 400 W Cherry Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401. Jerry Scott represented the transaction as legitimate, provided photos of the puppy, and stated the total cost would be $990 ($800 adoption fee and $190 shipping fee). He claimed the puppy would include vaccination records, AKC registration, a health guarantee, a crate, and shipping with no hidden fees.

Jerry Scott instructed me to send payment via Zelle to an individual he identified as his “daughter,” Tyler Eason. After payment was sent and confirmed, Jerry Scott became evasive and failed to provide basic breeder information when requested. Shortly thereafter, he claimed the puppy had been transferred to a shipping company and demanded an additional $1,000–$2,000 for a “special crate,” despite previously stating there were no additional fees. When I questioned this charge, he stopped responding.

On December 18, 2025, I was contacted by an individual identifying himself as Adam, claiming to represent Express Paws Logistics Shipping LLC. Adam stated the puppy was being held and again demanded the additional fees. He refused to provide a verifiable physical address for the puppy, refused to provide photos or videos, and insisted payment could only be made via Zelle or Cash App.

Further self-investigation revealed that:

  • The listed business address for Noble Guards Dobermans is a private residence, with no record of the business operating there.

  • The listed address for Express Paws Logistics Shipping LLC (57 Wildflower Ln, Pensacola, FL 32514, Terminal 1) is also a private residence.

  • The individuals “Jerry Scott” and “Adam” appear to be the same person based on voice, communication style, and email patterns.

  • Another consumer has filed a similar BBB complaint describing nearly identical circumstances involving these same businesses.

No puppy was ever delivered, and all communication ceased once I challenged the legitimacy of the transaction. Based on these facts, I believe this was a coordinated online scam involving false representations, deceptive payment practices, and non-delivery of goods. I also requested a refund after the additional undisclosed fees were demanded. The business stopped responding and provided no resolution.
