Description

The scammers were posing as a firewood delivery company on Facebook. They were advertising cheap seasoned wood. I reached out to them to ask for a delivery of wood and they responded asking for the money upfront in order to schedule the delivery. They were pushy and responsive and kept asking if I was still interested. Their english was not perfect. When my initial payment did not go through because it was pending review, they asked me to pay via a different method and provided Apple Pay and CashApp as alternatives. I waited until the initial payment cleared and they confirmed it. Then they claimed to be swamped with deliveries and passed my delivery to a logistics company, Skaiquick. Skaiquick proceeded to ask for a $100 insurance deposit to make the delivery. Thats where I got off the train.
