The scammer pretended to be a reputable ragdoll cat breeder. They even impersonated a real one with a TICA. The names are barely different. The scammer also stole pictures from their website and other photos from instagram. If you do a backwards image search, then you will see that they are not the real people taking the photos. After you fill out an application for one of the kittens, they will contact you by asking if you have other pets. If you do have other pets they ask for your pets vaccine records to show that you are a responsible pet owner. (This is usually standard practice) They also send you more photos and promise to call with a live video after the holding payment. Once you have paid, they pretend that they forgot about the live call and try to charge you an additional $150 fee for shipping. Do not fall for it!
