I had applied through Amazon for work from home/remote employment. I was then sent a text message with an invite to Telegram. At first , the tasks I did were just following stores in my Amazon app. I earned money and was paid through Cash App. Then a task came up to purchase bitcoin with a larger profit margin. The first one paid off. You had to complete 20 tasks to become an employee and earn a $500 bonus. When I made it to task 16 or so, then I had to purchase $150 bitcoin task and then a $10 task. To be paid both had to be completed. I ultimately did so having to use my ow money. Then my very last task ended up being one of these. 150 for the first task followed by a 380 second task. After completing that one it said there was a third before I would get paid. It was 1300. Since my bank would not transmit, I started doing a deeper dive and found that on the internet these were actually elaborate scams. I struggle paycheck to paycheck. Just trying to earn a little extra money without being gone all the time. I work two jobs and still have trouble making ends meet. I feel really stupid for trusting in someone. You can’t even go online and apply for employment by notable companies without a scammer lurking behind the scenes. I have no way to recover this but work even more hours away from my family.
