I was looking for dispensaries near me and on google I found a new dispensary in ridgewood that delivers. I went onto their website through google and it took me to their page where I browsed through and found some products i want. I proceeded to checkout and put in all of my information where it then prompted me to pay for the order. It then took me to moonpay which is apparently a cyrpto wallet but at the time I thought it might be a secure transaction platform for sending money. I put my information in moonpay and shows me its charging me $120 which is how much my order was and it asks me if i want to use apple pay and i accept. Then I get taken to a page that says my money is getting converted to crypto to be sent to the dispensary. I thought it was kind of weird but not out of the ordinary in this day and age. After my payment goes through I dont get any confirmation so I start trying to contact them through a phone number on their website. i get no response. then i get an email with my receipt so i think great let me reach out and see when this will be delivered. i use the email on their website and it comes up as undelivered. i respond to the email they send me and it comes up undelivered. i try calling the number on their site and theres no voicemail box set up. this all happened yesterday around 6 o’clock and i still haven't heard a word from them. the transaction is still pending but im worried im not going to be able to get this money back due to it being through a crypto wallet. not sure what else i can provide but i will attach my order id from moonpay and the crypto address it was delivered to on moonpay if thats of any help.
