This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
The first time they originally emailed me it went straight to spam, after a day or two i had a seperate email in my normal inbox asking if i had checked my spam for a job offer. Then I responded to the second email stating i was interested in the job position and wanted to move forward in the "application process". The scammer had called me 2 days later December 12th 2025 and stated they are calling to inform me on how ill perform this "job" and what my "salary" and "sign on bonus would be", they really try and reel you in by asking if you have a printer, to print shipping labels, and if you live near any big shipping offices like USPS, Fedex, UPS and etc to bring their supposed packages to after you inspect them. They soon asked if i was still interested in the job and wanted to move on with the hiring process. 4k a month, and i'd only be working 2-3 hours a day? I was already suspicious at this point, I dogded any questions that would give them more information than they clearly already had. They asked to send a "employment agreement" to my email and asked to sign my name, home address and send pictures of the front and back of my ID. I told them the area im in had bad service and would sign later. Did some research and ran into this website stating the same thing i went through, applying to hundreds of jobs in the past month without a single interview and suddenly one "emplyer" is sending multiple emails and offering 4k a month? Yeah no. Stay safe out there.
