Description
I was trying to convert a regular image to a high-resolution image 2 days ago when I came across PixGenie in my Google search. After upgrading an image on the PixGenie website, I was prompted to pay $0.10 to download the image. After paying the $01.0, I received an email at 10:03 AM EST from [email protected] that said "The USD 0.10 payment with USD 0.10 fee will appear on your bankcard statement as: "picmagic.co*" instead of the website from which you purchased the mentioned product. It's just used for sending bill statement by the seller's payment processor as a tool. If you need to unsubscribe, please feel free to reply directly to this email. Thanks, PixGenie Team." At 10:30 AM EST, I received a text from my bank's security informing me that my card was used at "PICMAGIC*W+18665876946" in the amount of $49.90 and asked if I authorized the activity. After confirming with my bank that I did not authorize the transaction, my debit card was immediately deactivated.
