Description

I was looking for a Valve Steam Deck for the cheapest price possible online, and stumbled upon this website called Spiror that was selling it under 500 dollars. I should have dug deeper before making a single purchase because a website that sells mostly unity sheds, outside backyard equipment and various other types of outside tools while also selling handheld gaming PCs is very suspicious. I paid for the product and a day later I decided to give this company a call and check the status of the order and the phone rang for an unusual amount of ringing time. As in 30 seconds of ringing only for loud beeping sounds to answer, which I believe to be a fax machine due to a similar report regarding the same website but I don’t know what the hell it was. Not only that but their sorry excuse for an AI bot only says one phrase “hi, how can we help you today?” Doesn’t say anything else and doesn’t respond to direct questions. That alone told me I got scammed hard. It’s been 12 days since I made the purchase. No delivery made no status update, no email and no phone call. My bank just only today as I type this just began reviewing my dispute I filed the day after I made the purchase which is gonna take up to 10 days possibly. Lesson here is stick to the well known online market websites and always research a website’s legitimacy before ever putting money down on anything. Scammers are getting way two advanced with AI in making websites that look real. The worst part about this too was I found this website on google shopping, something you would think to be heavily regulated internet space.
