I had applied for a job listing for FixtPT for a remote medical scheduler position I think it was on Virtual Vocations site on 12/10/25. After putting the pieces together, I think this is the landing page for the job https://www.careers-page.com/fixtpt-group/job/933XWYY4. I then received a text that evening from (833) 267-3191. It said "Hello! We're reaching out regarding the Remote Med-Scheduler. We'd love to invite you to a discussion via Teams. Email [email protected] to schedule your meeting. I emailed them that night and received a response back a little over 20 mins setting up a Teams interview. The second red flag being the job description wasn't consistent with what I applied for in the attachment they sent. I went to Teams on 12/11 and got a brief introduction and sent to do a survey questionnaire on jotform.com. I completed the form and then back on Teams chat he was very excited and would get back to me. I was already questioning this as I applied to one company and got a response from another and wanted to ask questions. He asked for me to reach out to him on Teams at 8 am on 12/12. I did more research that night and found that that email address was highly likely linked to job scamming and none of the pieces were adding up. I did receive a Teams chat message 12/12 at 8:10 am asking how my night's rest was. Luckily figured it out before I gave sensitive information or before they asked for money. This is so frustrating when you just want a job.
