This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Postcard left on porch with "NOTICE PG&E CUSTOMERS" across the top with the phone number and a QR code. Made to look like an official notice, but carefully worded to appear as such without actually claiming to be, but does claim that PG&E is converting homes to "Self-Generation" and that "Assessments by state-licensed program administrators are being scheduled this week to determine eligibility". I'm sure it is a company selling solar power solutions, but it is very misleading, making it sound like something affiliated with PG&E or the PUC when it is not and I could see many people being fooled into wasting their time, if not their money with this extremely predatory sales tactic.
