This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I placed an order with Zhengzhou Strong Peptide for an amino peptide kit after they represented themselves as a U.S.-based company offering 2–3 day shipping from Oklahoma. They provided a COA, price list, and a link to their website, communicated promptly, and quoted reasonable pricing, including $35 for express shipping. I paid through PayPal and was told I would receive a tracking number once the order shipped. After two days with no update, I followed up multiple times and received vague responses such as “today or early tomorrow” and “anytime soon.” The shipment continued to be delayed. When I expressed concern, I was suddenly sent a tracking number from a company called “ShipZone Logistics,” stating my package was “registered.” Shortly after, ShipZone informed me that a refundable $700 insurance fee was required because my package did not have the proper “insurance paper” to board the flight. At this point it became clear this was a scam. When I questioned the seller and referenced details from our prior conversations, they stopped responding entirely. Zhengzhou Strong Peptide and the associated “ShipZone Logistics” appear to be operating a fraudulent scheme involving false shipping claims and attempts to collect additional money under the guise of “insurance fees.”
