My son used ASTA Parking Garage located at 862 W Gaines Street in Tallahassee Florida. His car was parked for three days, from 11/21/25 4:47pm - 11/23/25 12:15pm. He did not take the car out of the garage during that time. He made three separate payments. 11/21/25 $22.00 (app), 11/22/25 $6.45 (kiosk), 11/23/25 $21.50 (kiosk). A total of $49.95. Unfortunately, we only have one of the receipts and I do not know the fees for the garage and was unable to find any reputable website to locate that information as well as any other information regarding the garage. On 12/05/25 we received a Notice of Non Compliance in the mail. (I have not included a copy attached due to personal information on the notice.) The notice states that we are being charges $78.00, with a reduced charge of $28.00 and a total amount due of $28.00 (However when taken to their website and enter our Notice Number the total amount due includes and $4.99 processing fee making the new total $32.99. In small print under the payment information is a text link "dispute this charge". I wanted to dispute the charges to obtain clarity since $78.00 for one weekend seemed incorrect due to the fact that he had previously made 3 payments and that they were so willing to 'reduce' the charge to $28.00. It appeared to be a scam and I wanted them to explain themselves. I should have let it go and ignore it but I hate scammers. I have attached copies of my notes and their email responses.
