Ordered two pairs leggings Oct 16 2025, no mention before purchase that there would be a delay until after completed purchase. Notified by email on Nov 16th 2025 10 days later after the purchase they send this email: FROM NAMARIE Pre Order UPDATE! Updates, expected delivery dates and MORE! FROM NAMARIE: This is a tough message to write. We started Namarie back in 2022 as friends who saw the dangers of current fabrics and the absolute need to create something healthier. With no money and no resources, we were able to find a way to create the fabric we make today. We started selling pre-orders to see if there was any interest in this healthier clothing option. Fast forward to today, after 20 months of actually selling the product, Namarie is still run by just a small group of people. We bootstrapped our brand and received orders for over 75,000 individual items. In that same time, we’ve launched new products, new colors, and made our fabrics squat-proof while still being that buttery-soft natural goodness that you have come to love. All of that was because of your support and belief in our mission. Now, we’ve come to a critical point. We have pitched to every single investor under the sun and anybody who could help fund this brand. Not a single one gets the value of what we’re building like you do. They aren’t seeing the value of our products yet, it’s contribution to protecting people’s health, and it’s impact on limiting the environmental impact of microplastics from synthetic clothing. We were used to the “no’s” for a while and we persisted because we know how important this fabric is to all of you and to everyone else who just hasn’t caught on yet. Your support has gotten us to this point but without true capital, no brand can survive. We have one last shot at making the change that the clothing industry needs to see. One last shot that only you can help us with.Now that the government is shut down, our SBA loan is on pause and with tariffs taking another unpredictable hike, fulfillment right now would sink us. To make sure we survive this, we are moving up our Black Friday launch of two of the most requested colors. If we can reach 5,000 new orders (any colors) by Halloween, we will be able to deliver your current pre-orders and the new black Friday colors before the end of November. In all transparency, this is essentially a Kickstarter. If we hit that goal number in orders: 1. We survive as a brand 2. You never have to hear the word pre-order again 3. You will receive all the healthy pieces you want to replace your current toxic activewear. 4. We can continue making a lasting impact on the world with these healthy and healing products. If we do not hit that number, you will receive a full refund for any outstanding orders you have with us. But we believe in all of you. Over 30,000 strong! So, even as we write this call for help, we’re still working on new products (flared leggings anyone?) and still working on new natural plant fiber and fabric solutions to bring you even more options and greater benefits from your clothing. We are still fighting but we need you. You are the only people who had faith in the mission we set out to accomplish and you are the only ones who can help us do it.
