Description
Lauren Minenok reached out by phone and left a voicemail stating, "Back when you closed on your mortgage with XXXXXXXX, you sent in a request for information on the mortgage protection plans to pay off your home if you became sick or passed away. We're doing a file audit, and it looks like we never got this information out to you." Lauren Minenok followed up with a text message. We spoke to her on the phone and provided some basic health information. She pulled premium costs for mortgage protection insurance plans with Mutual of Omaha and American Amicable Group. She sent the quotes to us via email from a Gmail account without a business website. The business listed on the quote packet was Minenok Legacy, LLC, which is registered in Davenport, Florida. At the time of this scam report, Minenok Legacy, LLC, has only been a registered business for 3 months. The packet also included a National Producer Number (NPN): 21156422. This number does not connect to any agent or agency in Florida or Pennsylvania.
