Title: Unordered Package / Possible Brushing Scam – “David/LC” Chicago, IL Description: I received an unsolicited USPS package addressed to me containing a pair of women’s Christmas pajamas. I did not order this item and neither did my wife. The return label shows: “David/LC, 3646 S Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL. 60609” When researching this return name/address, there are numerous online reports linking “David/LC” and Chicago addresses (especially 3646 S Wolcott Ave) to “brushing scams,” where low-value items are sent without being ordered. Around the same time, I placed an online order for a “2 in 1 Drill Chuck Ratchet Spanner” through a seller listed as CULMINATEW. My order number is 25666M629591. Tracking number given was 12510065140465896921. This item has not been delivered and no viable tracking information. I then received emails from: CULMINATEW [email protected] [email protected] I did NOT order the pajamas, so this appears to be a brushing scam or misuse of my name/address. What action I’d like: Documentation of this incident and tracking of complaints against this seller / return address. Date received: 12/8/2025 Delivery method: USPS City/State of recipient: Sterling, IL 61081
IL, USA- 61081
Chicago, IL- 60609
