Description

I was spammed with a remote employment scam in a company called Metric Theory, with their Customer Service and agent Lina Vailes, whom I did not recognize until my parents helped me understand after some research. Unfortunately, I had already sent money, in theory, to my own account, but they controlled the crypto end of that. They had me send them a photo of my driver's license, which they used to open the account at Community FSB. I did not give them my SSN, but they probably bought that online. Community FSB does not appear to have good "know your customer" practices. The crypto part of the scam used MetaMask and Crypto.com.
