This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
I was attempting to purchase items, went through and put my card information in, it then directed me to a page with Chinese writing. That’s when I knew it was a scam and quickly blocked my card. They attempted to use my card multiple times the same and next day according to my bank.
