I was redirected to SavvySmartDeals website when I tried to purchase on the Starscope monocular website. While on SSD website there were many offers thrown at me. I made my decision and was sent an order summary for the total. Shortly after, they made another unwarranted charge to my credit card for $77.72 but I was not sent any information regarding this charge. I contacted them by email and was told that this is simply a bank "hold" and it would be released in a few days. I was never credited back this "hold". I contacted them via email a month later when the goods had not arrived nor had my cc been credited back the $77.72. No response. So I called their customer care # and a woman gave me the run around saying the items had been delivered, which they had not. She then told me that I would have to contact USPS to find out where the items are...but she game me no tracking # or information. When I asked about the xtra charge she told me she did not see any xtra charge. When I told her who had written me about the "hold" she said no such person worked there. I then told her I believe this is a scam and I wanted my cc credited back for the items. She politely told me that I would have to contact USPS and hung up. "
