This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
A company called Nielsen sent me a FedEx Package with a letter to offer tv/media to my residence. I shredded the letter. Today, some black male approached my front door with flowers stating that he was from Nielsen tv media company. I declined and advised I am not interested. But why the hell would you have flowers for a tv:media offer?!?! And I was the only home on my street that received the offer. Complete scam. They should be investigated for this.
