Scam information

This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.

Description

When searching "how to apply for a child passport", I encountered UnitedPassport.com at the top of the search queue, with markings and overall design of their website that made it seem to be a legitimate government business. They requested social security numbers, contact information, and all the information you need to apply for a passport. No one needs this website. You would have to input the same information onto a goverment website or form, this does not help anything except cost you time and money, and anguish. They have a miniature statement at the bottom of their site describing that they are third party site, but prey on people that are looking for an answer and trust that what they found is the correct information.
