Description
I ordered from a FaceBook advertising a nice looking older woman claiming to be selling her final merchandise because she was retiring. I went to the website and all appeared legitimate. I looked up the return policy, as I always want to know I can return if dissatisfied. The reurn policy was explained that I would be responsible for return costs. All appeared legitimate and US based. It took awhile but products did finally arrive. As soon as I opened the box I could smell a foul odor, certainlyt not a fine leather smell., as advertised I ordered a travel bag, a purse, and two belts. All the products were poorly constructed with extremelu thin experior material. I'm not even sure they were leather. I contacted the boutique immediately to get instructions on how to return the items. I was given an address in China and warned that returning would be very expensive. I was told to ensure for under $50 , which was far less than the price I paid, otherwise the box would be held up in customs. The post office qouted me $125, which was over 50 % of my purchase. UPS quoted m $425. There was no guarantee that it would get to China in a timely manner if at all, in order to get my refund. When I emailed Junie Boutique to complain about the return policy, as it was not farily represented on the website, I was offerd 20% of sale price to keep the merchandise. This whole experience was a scam and I am out $250.
