This ad was ran in instagram repeatedly for facials/deals in the area. They used Acquity to book and I have used this platform before. It is a legit platform. The ads are very similar to those ran by Skin Laundry which is a reputable spa also in the area. That said ....when I went to my appointment a storefront did not exist. The directions said it was located behind LALA's restaurant. IF you walk down behind Lala's you are in an alley. I asked the pet store in that same plaza if they had any idea if this business existed and they also pointed to the breezeway as the only possibility for a pop up storefront. The bldg was otherwise occupied. I am disturbed for the fact that when I walked back there thru the breezeway ...I landed behind the building which is innocent enough, but I was also bothered in that a few cars were there with engines running. Could this be a sex trafficking ploy? I am older so I can see that I would not be their target audience. But I will be honest when I say it was the first thing out of my sons mouth when I told him about the experience. I felt it important to report this either way.
