Description
I was contacted by Better Path Lending on November 26 and signed up for their debt relief program. And doing further research of the company, I figured out that it might be a scam! Unfortunately, i did give them sensitive information, bank account number and social security number. They did give me a customer number that doesn't work. I don't really know what else to do other than report this to my bank and report to the BBB. It sounded pretty legitimate. But when I get to looking at the contract and the individual wanted me to sign it without allowing me enough time to read document. And like an idiot, I signed the contract. I did get in touch with my bank, and they are watching my account for suspicious activity.
