This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
They sent a PayPal invoice stating I purchased cryptocurrency. I DID NOT. I called the number and spoke with a foreign person named “Peter”. He hung up on me when I questioned him on my purchase.
