This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Normally these jackwagons use "PRESORTED STANDARD U.S. POSTAGE PAID" which is the junk mail rate. These jerks used Presorted 1st class mail which does cost them more. So they had shown a RE: (my bank's name ) underneath their return address on front of mail. The envelope was one of those "bend and tear off the sides" and inside they listed my county, closing date, amount and leader's name. They say " we have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call 1-833-408-1612. Thank you, The Mortgage Service Center " The fine print describes its source and that it is not with the lender. In the fine print it identifies an NPN# 19588308, which It appears to be an insurance solicitation with time-sensitive in protecting the mortgage.
