This content is based on victim and potential victim accounts. Government agencies and legitimate business names and phone numbers are often used by scam artists to take advantage of people.
Cheap Flight Service scammed my son out of money for a flight from California to Texas. They obtained his social security and debit card information and debited his account for around $370.00. They emailed him a confirmation that looks official (see attached). When my son arrived at the airport to travel the airline had no record of reservation. When my son contacted Cheap Flight Service they kept him on the phone for over an hour texting him confirmation links to his cell phone.
