The person said I was “hired” immediately after a short screening questionnaire, with no real interview or video call. They asked for my name, address, and phone number, and said HR would send “onboarding documents” and a “payment deposit” to buy home-office equipment. This matches a common remote-job scam pattern involving fake checks and equipment purchases. The job listing also disappeared after I applied, and I could not verify the company or the hiring manager. No legitimate hiring process or company portal was provided.
