Description
Gold Vault Scam: The organization behind this scam is locate in Africa (Ghana and Tanzania), Germany and likely the UK/England as well. They use dating apps to meet you and then develop a romantic connection over multiple months. AI generated content is used to send you romantic, poetic messages furthering their goal for you to fall in love. Once they think you trust them, they (Mary Scott Fischer in my case) will start with small requests of 'support' like helping to pay for school books for the kids or groceries. If all goes as planned, they will graduate you to the Gold Vault scam. The premise is that the person you are romantically communicating with (Signal is the favorite app) will find out that they have been contacted by a lawyer regarding an inheritance from a parent that has passed away. The inheritance will include Gold Bullion worth millions of dollars, but the primary evidence is the Elite Security Vault website where one can enter a 'Tracking Number' and the website returns information about the vault they are holding the scammer's inheritance. The scammer will say that they spent all their money on Elite Security Vault services to test the gold and obtain a gold assay. Problem they present is that they have an outstanding balance with the Vault company and can't retrieve the gold until they pay the outstanding balance... this is the point where the love of their life (you) needs to assist them with the payment. They would then have access to the millions of dollars in gold and you two can live happily ever after. They will use AI Videos that are very realistic for the scammer to talk to you in a video message. Other 'people' names used in this scam are their contacts on PayPal who facilitate money transactions in this scam: Mary Brantley, Mark A Waggoner, Christa Apana Awuah, Katy Laser Engraving, Kenneth Smith, Teresa Thomas, Stanford Whitter.
